He began his activity as a freelancer in the various fields of Design founding Studio Random with other colleagues in 1990 and since 2006 Kromosoma Studio. For more than fifteen years he has been dealing with Food Design through the collaboration with food companies, the creation of the first Masters degree in Food Design at an international level with IED Istituto Europeo di Design and the declaration of the ADI Food Design Manifesto. In the field of Design he has participated as a speaker at many conferences and Conferences, he published articles for magazines and newspapers and collaborated with writing books. Among the major clients with whom he has collaborated as designer and art director: Presidency of the Republic, Public Administration, Lazio Region, Legambiente, Caritas, Enel, Serono, Vodafone, Sigaro Toscano, Monini, Italo train, Eataly, Cinecittà Studios, Airest / Lagardere. There are many universities with which he has collaborated as a teacher:
 IUAV Venice, Federico Secondo University of Naples, IED Roma, Bau University of Rome, Quasar Institute, Pi-Campus, Design Museum Holon Israel, SICHNU University Sichuan China. 
He holds institutional roles in ADI and is a member of the scientific committee of Legambiente as a Design expert.
